Full Time (Mon–Fri, half day Fridays)
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to lead and develop our end-to-end supply chain operations at our foundry in Irlam, Manchester. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient procurement of raw materials and outsourced products, maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating logistics and distribution activities, and supporting production through effective planning and supplier management.Working closely with Sales, Operations and Manufacturing, you'll drive performance across the supply chain, build strong supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in ensuring materials are available when needed, deliveries are made on time, costs are controlled, and our supply chain remains resilient as the business grows.
What we're looking for: We are seeking a commercially minded and results-driven professional with experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics management within a manufacturing, foundry, heavy engineering or similar industrial environment. You will have strong knowledge of inventory management, supplier development, logistics operations and ERP/MRP systems, alongside excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who can build effective relationships with suppliers, customers and internal teams, while driving continuous improvement and delivering against key business objectives.
