Adding additional services like heat treatment, machining or assembly can reduce administration, overhead costs, provide more control and visibility as well as reduce the supplier base.

Heat treatment

Many materials require specific heat treatment to achieve desired mechanical properties, such as hardness, tensile strength or ductility or simply to normalise the grain structure after the casting process.

Types of heat treatment used are as follows:

All types of machining services are offered, from basic drilling and tapping through to 3 and 4 axis CNC machining to extremely tight tolerances and surface finishes as required for Baseefa and Atex applications.

Surface treatments & finishes

A variety of surface treatments and finishes can be applied to improve the appearance of the finished part, to improve the corrosion resistance or the alloy’s mechanical properties.
