Investment castings, good news!
DGI were delighted to receive some very pleasing news from one of their largest customers for investment castings. The customer, a commercial vehicle manufacturer, produces a report of supplier performance which they divide into 3 sections. The first section contains a small number of companies with excellent performance, section 2 are those that are not too bad but will be expected to do better and section 3 are those companies that are “at risk” of losing what business they have.
The company has well over a hundred suppliers providing nearly 1M parts in 2008. DGI are in the EXCELLENT bracket having supplied 3551 components from 5 different tools and have zero deficiencies (usually late or incomplete deliveries).
Furthermore, in the “Commodity” report, including all companies providing casting and machining, Dean Group International were the best for 2008.
DGI aim to provide the very best quality at the right price and in a timely manner, often from stock in the UK. It’s not often that good news is forthcoming, but when it does come it is very much appreciated, and well worth shouting about!
