History
Lost wax casting is an ancient practice by which bronze is cast from a sculture. In industry the modern process is known as investment casting and today the methods to vary from foundry to foundry; but the steps of casting small bronze scultures are generally quite standardised.

This is a new process to the UK and offers distinct advantages over premium grade investment castings and sand castings, the advantages are:

- Cast surface roughness for example 0.2% Carbon steel 12.5-25.4RA
- Minimum and maximum weight limitations From 10g to 100kg
- Minimum and maximum size limitations .100mm – 1000mm
- Draft angles required per process +/-1-3 degrees
